Look how many 1 posters the comments have. What did this dude do, make 12 alt accounts and self vote a dozen times?
If it makes you feel any better, check the IP's. bet you any money they are different. Also, I might not have many posts, but that doesn't mean my vote doesn't count and it doesn't mean I am bad. It just means I only comment and vote on what I think is good and what I have experience with using. Your 117 posts don't make you better than anyone else who uses this website.
On my games as Riven i've been grabbing either a cloth armor +5 hp pots or boots and hitting that solo lane. items depend what champ I think will be up there AD = cloth armor ap = boots its probably the best way to start if you are comfortable with her. If not the doran's blade is an excellent choice.
I feel your view on Trinity force pretty damn bad. The only thing you point out on it is the Sheen, which, if you didnt understand, is great on Riven cause she's spamming abilities. Lets say your AA deals 100dmg. It adds (if im calculating right) everytime you use an ability, your Sheen procs, adding 150 (150% of 100) dmg to your next attack (Then you can add your passive to that). Its like an ''auto-critical strike'' everytime you use an ability, and you still can crit. Is it really a waste of 1260g?
the only thing you see about Trinity force is the useless part. what you didnt seem to see is:
30 AD.
12% Movement Speed.
30% attack speed.
15% crit (to fit with your I.E.
250 Health.
The Sheen's Proc
The Phage's proc
You may dislike Trinity Force, alot of people do, but at least try to see evertyhing it provides, not only the Mana and AP.
sheen/trinity force only makes you next attack add %150 of base damage. She has terrible base damage, she was designed not to use trinity force. so in the end you are spending over 3k on 30ad, %30 atkspd (not needed), 250hp (not enough), sheen proc(terrible on her), and a phage proc which could be gotten for much cheaper and be more effective by just building a frozen mallet.
and btw sheen proc has a 2 sec cooldown making it even more useless on her

I'm not that desperate.
AMAZING GUIDE, just pure awesome, i mean to the point that if a pig and a goat had sex. This guide would be their baby. Truly amazing. +4
Does that even make any sense? XD
Two things I would mention is the early B.F. Sword - Wouldnt be a Brutalizer the better choice?! - and the IE... As I am always saying: "Riven is not an autoattacker"
+1
First build (lane) is awesome :D
Thank you ^^
I started using jungle items on a solo lane XD its sweet

The problem with going for trinity force is that you sacrifice your entire early game to get an item that'll boost ALL the stats, instead of the one specific stat that will help you and your team the most (That being AD.)
I Like your build. Though I'd add Hexdrinker as a suggested replacement for Atma's in case they have more AP (or a fed AP) then AD.
It has saved me more times then I can dare to count (And help me land kills on Akali's).

Well, you are right there. I still need to keep testing the items... It's just that,if you fk up one item on start,it is a bit hard to get back on your feet. I appriciate that comment of yours ^^
Also,i've said I'm using Infinity Edge, instead of Trinity force...
