Make sure you are in the right server...
if you are on US, for instance, make sure on the left side of the patcher it says "North America" and not "Europe E/Nordic" or "Europe W"

Although we at MobaFire are flattered that you'd come to our site for help, it may help more if you do three things differently from what you've done here.
1. Provide a clear list of actions that retrace what you remember doing
2. Post your concern/problem on the official LoL forums where real Riot staff may post to help.
3. E-mail the LoL's official customer support which can be found fairly easily at the official LoL site. Include the information from #1 as well.
You'll have a much better chance at immediate assistance.

Why people post this kind of problem here? Isn't it better to mail RIOT since they can solve your problem?
I know you want to check if you're not the only one with this issue, and here isn't the place to do that though. LoL has a forum for problems only.
