<3 your guide!!
Detailed, fun to read, VERY VERY VERY straight to the point, free upvote :D
will update the guide really soon so it mirrors the recent patch changes. Just gimme some time, my day job occupies a lot of time right now.
But I can say that my top summoner spell choices are still valid, and the mastery tree has already been updated in the pocket guide section.
Cheers
Will check out your guide tomorrow after work, thy for the feedback!
@Ranitsa:
Always glad when I can share thoughts :)
@ Equinax:
Wow, glad to hear my guide brought you some fun playing Riven- have a great time and lots and lots of kills ;)
Awsome!
If I dominate games against AP champs I do not buy it, I buy more AD items to eliminate them even quicker. or maybe only invest in a Hexdrinker just in case.
But if you have the feeling that one or more AP champs start to become quite fearsome then Force of Nature is a good choice. It also gives you some more mobility, which is never wrong for Riven and some really nice hp/5. I take this item a lot when I play very tanky DPS, but with Riven I only use it ultra rarely. If it had flat health on it instead of the regeneration I would much more prefer it with Riven.
Most cases I will stick to Hexdrinker because the extra damage FON stops would only be around estimated 8% as Hexdrinker instead of Aegis of the Legion should bump your magic resist to around 120 which is close to fifty-five percent reduction whereas Force of Nature should give you around 63%. As your health pool in my build is not that big until you put in something like Frozen Mallet the effective health gain by wearing Force of Nature seems not that cost efficient for me.
Here's a graph for you that shows how damage and MR correlate: y- axis = damage ; x- axis = MR
TL; DR:
Force of Nature is ok; I would recommend to buy Hexdrinker instead of the aegis- if you want to skip it- as it also gives you some more damage and also pushes Valor a little.
Are there situations where you would build it? Maybe instead of Aegis of the Legion?
BTW: Haha, i dont know how many times I was called noob for such an action :p
Whenever I am on a short winning streak I land up in "I leave the match after 5 levels" town or one of my team-mates died by Tryndamere 10 times before he even hit level 10 :D
Congrats to your flawless streak.
BTW: I love it, too, when I stop the enemy team from killing to of my own, maybe taking one of the enemies down in the process just to hear "WTF are you doing! Noob! Stop feeding!!!11" ;)

I must admit, sometimes I'm dying too often, but that happens because in certain situations I simply plunge into the enemy to save my group cause that they they focus me but 2 other members can get away.
