@Caucheka:
I think it's quite a clever product placement and maybe an even less "in your face" approach compared to what this company does in "chuck" :)
As long as people do not get advantage over other players by using their subway code it is ok.
I do not know about this game's multiplayer as I don't own a console anymore but I am still not sure if it is a good idea that players can keep their stats for the full version.
Maybe it is ok in that game, but imagine that with Battlefield 3 or something like that.
If somebody had a month early access to that game they would have quite some advantage.
tl;dr:
extra content and early access: good
buying advantages: bad

yeah because unless someone was wearing the subway shirt/hat or doing the 5 dollar foot long taunt then you wouldn't even see it.
i havnt played the uncharted 2 multiplayer but from what i've heard the in game money works like ip in lol, win games to get money that you can spend on skins or guns.

To start, caucheka, you're clearly a fanboy, haha.
It's not that XBL CAN'T be hacked, it's that it has yet to be. I'm positive that people have attempted to hack Xbox Live for years, though unsuccessfully. Again, not saying XBL is hack-proof, because it's not. However, a properly designed and maintained network, such as XBL, will make it harder for hackers to succeed.
i really feel sorry for xbox users, since besides paying money for online they recently decided to cram it full of ads.
Honestly, I haven't even noticed. I don't play my Xbox all that often, but when I do, it's on XBL. My point, though, is it absolutely does NOT take away from the experience whatsoever. Your point is 100% completely invalid. You're just nit-picking.
Do you regularly call up your cable/satellite T.V. provider, and complain that you're paying good money for their service and it's crammed full of ****ty ads? Microsoft is a company, and their main goal above everything else, is to make money. And as long as their means to do so doesn't take away from my Xbox Live experience, I am perfectly fine with that.
Now, I'm not a fanboy. Whatsoever. Yes, I own an Xbox (that I rarely play), but I probably play PS3 just as much as I do Xbox. Yes, I like Xbox better, mostly because of the controller. Yes, I do like PS3, and I play quite often.

right because microsoft totally can't be hacked and paying 50 dollars for the same service you get for free is totally worth it. not to mention psn isnt as ad ridden as xbl.

if you buy a large drink there (in the us) you have access to the full multiplayer a month before the game releases. whatever stats and levels you earn will carry over when the full game is released.
in the multiplayer maps they have treasures there as well, and some of them are subway treasures like a sandwich or a large drink. theres even a shirt and hat with the subway logo on it, and one of the taunts you can get is the 5 dollar footlong thing.
theres also a few one use perks that you can buy with in game money, and everything will be available to those who did not get the early month of the game.
i personally don't think this affects it much at all, as the subway logo isn't being shoved in your face, plus since your characters are treasure hunters they're all wearing t-shirts and stuff, so a subway shirt would be believable.
