Jax snowballs like akali and if he is well played, there is a point, he is unstoppable.

Due the fact that nothing is unstoppable in this game, correct counter there is for Jax. I prefer Poppy due speed increase on her W alone.

A competent, fed Jax will stomp literally every single hero in the game in a 1v1 and will often beat multiple heroes at once. Dodge/spammable stun absolutely ruins melee enemies and his ult provides an enormous amount of MR for use vs mages. He also does a lot of DPS, and it's a relatively even split between physical and magical, which makes it very difficult to defend against.

Seriously, if I had to pick one hero as most overpowered in the game, it's easily Jax.

Thanks to Jsta for the sig image.

He shouldn't be able to get health from attack items.

@Urscythe:

Playing AD means treating your kit as "helper" stats.
Devastating Blow is equivalent to a burst form of Madred's Bloodrazor.

Cleaver is better for actual dragged-out confrontation because AD focuses on your actual "AD" - I know, it's so complex!

The attack speed also means you can clear minions so much more easily, and that kind of task does come up on Dominion if you leave the lane alone too long.
