Our Dominion team is right now: Evelynn, Shaco, Gangplank, Blitzcrank and Rammus. This is a pretty NICE team. We won all games we played together.
Rammus is a guaranteed ban. Shaco is also a frequent ban. Might wanna make sure those two have backups :)

Thanks to Jsta for the sig image.
After some additional couple of games:
-Rammus: Excessive abuse of the game system.
Buying Boots o. M. + Powerball, also going somewhat full-tank using Garrison/Thornmail he can easily outdo 2-3 ppl alone on his tower.
(I guess in ranked at least his mobility can be countered by a good strategy, since I didnt saw some other full-tanks, maybe they are all problematic in combination with the Dominion towers, at least if they are able to deny a couple of ppl the option to take over towers)
-Jax: Maybe its the fact that he´s a nuke autohit champ or that many ppl tend to play autohit champs on Dominion, but its close to lame how he can easily burst most of the champs to oblivion.
Guess its partly thx to the fact that he needs zero survivability items to rock.
Judging my games so far, I guess the value of the champs natures changed a bit in Domi:
From personal experience I´d say autohit champs always rocked on Summoner´s Rift if the game takes too long without going in the favor of the opposing team at least, since Domi tends to let this easily happen and also forcing ppl to get into close quarter fights, the value of autohit champs (moreover the melee tanky ones) rose quiet a bit.

I'm liking
Ryze a lot.
My build for him gives him good sustainable dps while making him really tanky.
He's the only ranged champion I've had any luck with so far.
Tanky DPS are suppose to act as anti-carries. Ranged dps are suppose to act as anti-tanks/carries.
But Ryze is a "Ranged Tanky DPS carry" - Dun dun dun!

I've been having pretty good luck using Alistar in Dominion games. His ult combined with Garrison makes him nearly invincible to damage from turrets (which, contrary to what some may say, actually do hit you for quite a bit of damage during prolonged exposure). His Headbutt allows him to 'jump' to enemies that are attempting to capture a friendly point. This and his Pulverize enable him to defend towers like a boss. If he is alone defending and multiple enemies show up, cast Garrison and Unbreakable Will for more damage and defense capability. Personally, I have defended a point by myself against 4 enemies at once by using this method. I killed two of them and held off the other two long enough before dying to allow my team to make it there to kill them as well.
Now by no means am I saying that playing Alistar is going to get the most kills in a game, nor am I saying that you will have the top score. But when combined with a team that has a decent amount of sense about them as far as knowing to defend points, Alistar really shines.
