Well, first, I buy it also for magic resist(to have enough). Second, hard cc completly brakes my gameplay. I think it is way more usefull than a bit more dodge chance.

Garen, I build Wriggle's Lantern, because he is a strong counter to Jax and beats him without it.
With Wriggle's Lantern, Jax can easily dominate his lane.
It is also a great pick if you have a bad earlygame.

Well with Garen you have a point, but did you get Ninjas or Mercury at that time? If you got Mercury but also bought Wriggle to counter Garen thats just contra.
And Ninjas arent just "dodge" for Jax its dodge/aoe stun and dmg/MR!
And if yu rly are in trouble cause your enemy packs one hell of cc even on you, than get yourself Eleias (yuck...) or Moonflair only 1,2k gold. Worth it.
Btw: Without that recent buff to all other Tenacity items i wouldnt even try to get them..

Also: Way, and i mean WAAAAY too much lose of dmg. If you wanna go for banshees you should drop Tenacity at all and get pur dmg Item on every other slot except boots o0.

Well, but the AS on Cloak and Dagger is enough, to hit 2,5. And a tenacity item which has something more than tenacity on it to be usefull is great.
And the combination with Banshee's Veil makes you very immune to cc^^. So if the enemy is cc heavy, they better don't focus Jax with it^^.

Yeah, but you dont want to go offtank on Jax using your precious items and benefit more from the "Hp for dmg"-passive.
Also if you believe the OP (which had totally other intentions opening this thread...) even in combiation with Rageblad+ulti you wont reach 2.5, ~2.2 at max.
And if your quotes true I would build myself Stinger and leave it happily for later.
