I have heard that it helps (not necessarily alleviates) some woes to play either Supports or Tanks well since almost anyone can play a carry and you can also dual queue with someone you trust and plays well with your play style.

I have 1270 ELO, My top rating is 1520. Seems like i lost 80% of my games last 2 weeks. Any tips? Why do i have the bad teammates like 60-70% of the time?
