Playing ranked games is never really a bad idea in my opinion, you will learn more faster by being thrown into the deep end of the pool! ;)

I am a long-time reader, but a first time poster here on Mobafire. Thought it was time for me to join up. I am a recent level 30 on the NA server. I finished most of my rune pages recently, and am really looking to start playing more competitive games and trying to raise my ELO. I did what alot of people do, get to level 30, not have full runes, but JUST play ranked. Its a good way to really hurt your ELO right off the bat. But I am going to try to raise my ELO slowly. I can play any role on the team (I have my favorites, but I know how to play at least 3 champs in every role).
So I guess I will leave it at that for now. I am interested in finding duo-queue partners, and ideally, I eventually would like to join/make a 5-man premade team and see what we can really do.
