Lol no, there's like 600 or some **** now. There were 250~ish way back in gold and silver, and that was like a decade ago.
ORIGINAL 151 FTW.

Only 256? Noob. there's at least 400 now. Get with the program!
Everything past Celebi looks stupid to me.
Treecko, Torchic, and Mudkip just don't cut it for me, it's also when Beautifly came about, and that's just wrong. The pokemon world already had Butterfrees.
Case #1: Lugia vs Kyogre - Whose the master of the oceans, dammit? Lugia came first
Case #2: Ho-oh vs Rayquaza - Someone was flying around longer then the other, I think I know who.
Case #3: Mew vs Arceus - Mew's concept is that its the ORIGINAL pokemon, there can't be anything that came before it (only different by number). Screw god-pets you can capture, that was always a stupid concept for a kid's video-game / show.
Case #4: The pokemon TV series started sucking really bad when they moved into Generation III... Ash got a new hat, it was all over.
(Why was gen I and II good? Death. Sandshrew that could swim, Haunter pulling out their souls, charmander nearly dying in the rain, pikachu almost falling in lava, the heroes getting shrunken by that psychic gym leader [I'm not dorky enough to remember all the names] Those seasons had epic stories. Whoever's writing now is an idiot. )
ALSO, I MEANT 251 POKEMON NAMES.
I misread it off bulbapedia.

You need to log in before commenting.
Whether you’ve recently signed up to play League of Legends or you are a veteran player and you’ve tried to purchase a name change, you may have needed an extremely active imagination to register a summoner name on your first try. We know how frustrating it can be unable to secure your preferred nickname, and we want to help!
It’s come to our attention that there are a great many names out there that belong to summoners that have yet to log in and play a matchmade game. So, in response to player feedback, we’d like to free up these inactive summoner names so that they’re available for players that are ready to use them immediately.
So, if you had previously claimed a summoner name and would like to keep it, all you have to do is log in and play at least one matchmade game before midnight on Sunday the 30th of October. If you haven’t managed to make a showing of ownership by then, we will free up the name for those who are either just now registering or those would like to change their name.
If you have registered an account that is in danger of losing its summoner name, you will receive an email notifying you of your responsibility to log in and play a matchmade game in the next few days. Once you have played at least one matchmade game on your account, the summoner name in question will be yours to keep.
If you have already played your matchmade game at the time you receive your email, don’t worry! We’re still keeping track of your games; it just takes some time to send that many emails!
We’re looking forward to seeing you in game!
If you haven't played in a few months, highly suggest playing at least 1 matchmade game just in case.
