Yorick counters AP at mid, but a bit worse than Talon does. Nasty solo-top, and haven't tried out support yet. In theory, support Yorick would need tons of mana though...
I like Manamune, Mercury's Treads, Spirit Visage, Frozen Heart, Trinity Force,and Atma's Impaler. Very stable build with decent resists along with his OP as **** passive makes the game fun. :)

I've played as Ashe with a support Yorick bottom. Very enjoyable. He did all the work for me, I got farmed, and when the jungle came to gank, he just ulted and two Ashes laid down some hurt.
I remember when his ult had 100% damage and Vayne wasn't nerfed yet. Those were some fun times.

Mana/reg seals help greatly. With a philo you can spam all you need.
The old Yorick had mana problems. New one definitely does not. If you're careful and don't both run out of mana and health, you can deal with it.
Yorick actually carries Stark's Fervor quite well, unlike most other supports. Just another thing to add.

Good idea with Zeke's Harbinger i'll have to try it out sometime. Works amazing with any AD carry that needs farm bottom. He dominates most lanes with medium harassment. Philosopher's stone should be enough to fix his mana problems. I run Greater Seal of Replenishment which makes him impossible to outlane. Grabbing gold per items is important because he has very item dependent damage. Philosopher's stone and Heart of Gold are great choices to rush.
