I'm actually a big fan of Nintendude's playstyle, I love his picks and he's fun to watch, I'm glad you brought him up!

The balls-deep playstyle is basically what Riven is all about, if she's not played like that she's wasted potential.

I honestly would, but I've been thinking of archiving this guide (or remaking it soon), lots of AD items have changed, and Riven has been changed pretty recently, shifting power from her W to her Q.

Edit: He also played her in their first game against Curse.

Nice guide! What did you think about Mono running jungle Riven in IPL4 vs Dig game 3? I think they played her pretty just like your guide says to, as a ganking machine. Maybe it would be worth including a link to that game in your guide? Also I know studio talks about that game in his Studio Daily #27.

Xin and Riven -
Very similar, aggressively ganking playstyles
Xin isn't as lose as much power if he doesn't get kills early but doesn't snowball nearly as hard

Riven solotop -
I'd go a much different build if I were solo top Riven.
As solo top Riven, I'd start with either boots or cloth armour (cloth if I'm against an AD heavy opponent and want a Wriggle's), then just go Wriggle's (if AD heavy), Doran's (situational, get them if you have money, struggling, or want more initial dominance) a Bloodthirster then a Guardian Angel, then stack Bloodthirsters.

Would you use the same build if you were solo top?
I know this is a jungle guide, and not a lane guide, and i mostly play jungle. Im debating wether i should buy her or Xin as my next jungler. So what are you thoughts on Riven as compare to a Xin? (xin too has to get good ganks early to snowball) is riven just as useless as Xin if she doesnt get kills early? And how do you play her if you have to solo top?

I like Riven and I agree with everything for the mostpart. I just disagree that she is the only good "female" jungler, as Shyvana is pretty good and I jungle her often. Nice guide though, +1 from me.

im actully a huge fan of the guide ill try it in my next jungle game but just a thought maby a late wriggles for the free ward and the chance to hit a creep for 500 dmg this could help for a late game baron or dragon
