Wow. however, here's my question. with lee sin, the only other champion i know with this many abilities, you have to cast part 1 before part 2. do you have to cast light before dark? or how would that work?

The only time you gain access to your Dark skill counterparts is when you use the Ultimate(R) which is Polar Shift. As long as you remain in Dark state your skills are replaced with their Dark counterparts except Crescent Moon/Burning Sun which is a toggle skill that stays even in the Dark state.
Ahh... thanks for explaining. that's quite potent, with the bonus lifesteal and damage, he could potentially sustain that for a bit.

Yea, cc would make it very difficult. however, in lane, it's still potential for max 8 seconds i think, then you're at about 1hp.

Adverse: Disciple of Light and Darkness
Cloaked Champion wielding a scythe
DPS Melee Champion intended to be a hybrid with a "panic button".
*Note: Dark skill counterparts replace the Light skills after Polar Shift's passive activates or if Polar Shift is voluntarily activated.
Innate: (Light) Resist - Each normal attack received by Adverse will raise his armor and magic resistance by 3 for 4 seconds stacking to a maximum of 12/15/18.
(Dark) Desist - Each normal attack done by Adverse will shred the armor and magic resistance of his target by 3 for 4 seconds stacking to a maximum of 12/15/18.
1st Skill: (Light) Luminous Reach - Adverse channels for 2 seconds then flashes to an enemy champion up to 750 units away dealing damage. (55/70/85/100/115+0.5AD+1.0AP) -18sec CD- 60/65/70/75/80mana
(Dark) Dark Hunger - Adverse raises his movement speed (10/15/20/25/30%) and gains lifesteal (4/6/8/10/12%) for a brief period (3/3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5 seconds). -8sec CD- 60/65/70/75/80mana
2nd skill: (Light) Phantasm Dance - Adverse dances/channels slowing nearby enemy champions. (300aoe 10/15/20/25/30%MS slow) -12/12/15/15/18sec CD- 20/40/60/80/100mana
(Dark) Shadow Dance - Adverse raises his attack speed (6/12/18/24/30%) and crit rate (4/6/8/10/12%) for a brief period (3/3.5/4/4.5/5/5.5 seconds). -8sec CD- 20/40/60/80/100mana
3rd Skill: Crescent Moon/Burning Sun - Toggle: Adverse's normal attacks deal a percentage as splash damage (10/15/20/25/30%) or deals a percentage of his Ability Power as magic damage but loses splash in the process. (25/30/35/40/45+0.21%AP)
Ultimate: Polar Shift - Passive: (Changes skin when the skill activates.) When Adverse's hitpoints are reduced to 0 during Light state he automatically shifts from Light to Dark raising his Attack Damage (10/20/30), Ability Power (10/20/30), max hitpoints (200/250/300) and heals to full health but then deals true damage to himself equal to 25% of his maximum hitpoints every second while in Dark state. Adverse cannot activate Polar Shift to revert back to Light state until he dies then ability goes into cooldown disabling the passive after he shifts to Light until the cooldown refreshes. Polar Shift's passive will not auto-activate when Adverse is stunned, silenced, or suppressed. -100/80/60sec CD-
Active: (Changes skin when the skill activates.) Adverse shifts from Light to Dark raising his Attack Damage (10/20/30), Ability Power (10/20/30), max hitpoints (200/250/300) and heals to full health but then deals true damage to himself equal to 25% of his max hitpoints every second while in Dark state. Can activate skill again to revert back to Light after 3 seconds then ability goes into cooldown as well as disabling the passive until cooldown refreshes. -115/95/75sec CD- 100/125/150mana
Thanks to fallendominion, eisuke, and others for your feedback. It really helped me revamp Adverse to a more "realistic" champion.
P.S. To fallendominion - I wanted to keep the channeling and distance on the first skill because I didn't want it to be like other champ's flash skills like Irelia's or Katarina's. The distance and the channeling is for initiating or ambushing from behind the Fog of War, brush, wall, etc. and not as a potential chasing skill since the Dark version of Q is the one that can be used for chasing instead, therefore encouraging the player to actually utilize it via using the ult.
Now we have numbers and figures for the skills! I even put mana cost and cooldown to emphasize that his skills cannot be spammed. Even did my research on existing champions to make the ratios, damage, buffs, etc. plausible and not OP. Lowered most of the numbers according to your feedback and also reworked the ult which is actually quite the defining skill for this champion. Anyway, next up is stat points, health, etc.
If anyone wants to submit suggestions or changes feel free to reply and criticize until Adverse is fully balanced out according to the majority. And please, read the skills thoroughly before making any criticisms. This is supposed to be a "give and take" kind of champion and with the benefits comes the high costs. Think of equivalent trade. This champion, if ever made real, will be very hard to master considering the timing and number of skills you have to utilize and the amount of multi-tasking you'll have to do in order to get the full potential of this champion. Let me give a scenario here regarding the ult for example: Goes to a teamfight --> activates ult --> gets damaged by his own skill --> gets damaged by enemy champs --> lacks lifesteal or CC'd --> dies within 4 seconds. I won't call my ult OP or imba. I say it's unique... Well, kinda similar to Yorick's ult as fallendominion stated but try looking at scenarios and other factors to consider before judging that Polar Shift is OP. Even all of the skills were thought up to encourage you to use the ult despite the major risk of dying within 4 seconds after using it. Think of it like shooting apples on top of people's heads with a bow and arrows. If your skilled you nail it, if not then you're in deep sh*t.
Anyway, enough of the justifications. I just wanted to make a hybrid champion with a steep learning curve to master while having the rush of feeling the risks while using him. Also, Light and Darkness? Come on! Cliche, yes. But cool nonetheless.
