ok matrix is pretty messy but came out with...
x1 = 2a-b+2c
x2 = 2c-a-1
x3 = c
x4 = b-3c-a+1
I hope I didnt herp derp anywhere in there

That looks like stuff I had last year, when I studied maths at university.
The first one is like this:
(1 0 1 1 | a+1)
(1 1 -1 1 | 0)
(0 1 1 1 | b+2)
(1 1 1 1 | 2c)
It should look like a big bracket, if you get what I mean.
Then you try to get a 1 at the top left, and a 0 on all the other places vertical to that.
So first step:
Do nothing with line 1 (you want the 1 at the top left), take line 2 and substract line 1 from it (so you get a 0 at the first place), do nothing with line 3 (there already is a 0 at the first place) and take line 4 and substract line 1 from it (to get another 0). Keep on going until you can no longer do it, and then the answer should pop up.
I believe det(An) is like (-c-2)^n + ((-c-2)^n)^n - ((-c-2)*(a+1)^n)^n .
Basically you take the diagonal from top left until bottom right, and multiply all terms. Then move 1 to the right (if you can't, move all the way to the left) and keep on going until you reach the last one (let's call it f). Then you take the diagonal from top right to bottom left, and multiply all terms. Then move one to the right and repeat until you are done (let's call it g). Then f-g and done ;)

I decided to calculate the answer to the first one, I come up with
x1 = -b-2c-2
x2 = -a+2c-1
x3 = c
x4 = a+b+c+3
So it's slightly different from the answer from NinjaGinge, I guess you should calculate it yourself :D
