This is right. Wards + playing smart > Flash any day. I don't have to be passive in my lane at all when I have wards. Ghost is better than Flash for escaping when you have advanced notice of the gank. And it's not like Flash is ever gonna be bad, just go over the wall and profit.
Semi supports could become more played(like
Lux), taking Surge for auras and buffed heal for healing that full supports give.

My guess is the flash nerf is going to be overly dramatic....in terms of its range. To me this is basically one of those TF style nerfs. Make the spell about 80% less effective than it used to be and rather than reduce the number of people using it they're just simply making it unuseable.
Riot once again in their "Infinite wisdom" WANTS to make the game more agressive, but instead make changes that will slow the game down. BRAVO. I've never loved a game so much and hated the thought process behind the descisions SOOO MUCH. (well except for maybe WoW)
Promote will be worthless, Surge will be worthless, Heal change will be worthless. Cleanse will be LESS worthless.

Regarding Promote its very possible, that itll be totally useless, but dont kill the others off that easily.
Maybe theyll add a usefull effect to Heal/maybe Cleanse will help Mundo and friends to rise again/maybe Surge will give you a proper option instead of Exhaust?
At the very least everything will wind up totally UP or OP.
For now, just be happy that they change spells which should be changed.
The judging can be done afterwards.

Cleanse SHOULD remove exhaust BUT not ignite! Exhaust is a debuff while ignite is a DoT spell (Tryndamere is gonna get a OP buff -.-). Now about flash...i agree that it should have a greater cooldown but DONT NERF THE RANGE~! Simply don't. It will destroy squishies and it allow players with built-in CC removers(Gangplank, Olaf..) to eliminate them while they don't have some way to escape!
Well only if it is mobile, it scales with champion level, and offers general stat increase. That would be pretty useful for supports.
