We just need one tournament where one from winning team plays Xerath and its new metagame for AP ranked mid.

I have been playing him at the moment (damm free week taking ma Olaf!) and i enjoy him a lot.
His range is compensatet for the fact that his late game damage is smaller compared to ohter caster.

It's not even his mpen that makes him so strong. Locus is a nice ability and all, but his QWE combo gives him ******** aoe burst. The crazy range of locus is just a bonus really...

With
Void Staff+ Locus of Power you hit ~58% penetration, not 70%. Simply because that is how the scaling works with %pen.Xerath's counter is high mobility disablers like
Talon; basically gap closers with a CC. Oh and being out positioned. That will get Xerath shut down quite quickly.
