@animorte, yes. everyone DOES suck with her. And shes never played how she should be. Her role is similar to Orianna. She has great burst with incredible utility. A few problems. Her damage isnt as good as typical AP carries, and she really only has two skills. Her slow doesnt really do much in teamfights (unless you already have an advantage), and her ult is just a proc added onto her other skills.
plus, people are playing her as support. She is better than Tier 4, but its not my fault people dont use her correctly at my elo. or at all.

I must agree with most of that. People just don't know how to use her...
As far as damage goes, I have no problem there at all. I focus on AoE damage and AoE heals. That's really all she can do. The shield is really good in my opinion. Her slow does inhale rather vigorously, but if you have proper positioning you can at least prevent one person from getting away, or deal minimal damage to multiple targets.
It's just so sad that nobody understands her. She is the only champion in the game that can AoE damage an enemy team while AoE healing her own team in just one ability.

^ While that's all well and good, it doesn't mean she's as good as other champs with 4 real skills :P

Meh, I've laned against AP karmas before, she's a very strong laner and actually REALLY hard to deal with in lane, but in teamfights I find that her damage just isn't that good and her range is also pretty low. In the current meta your AP carry needs to have burst and a lot of it. While Karma can survive a lot longer than other APs, she just doesn't have that strong burst. She's a unique AP for sure, but still not at the level of the more established APs. Having said that I should probably add her to my tier list :P
