My mouse does the same, in fact sometimes it registers as more than two clicks or doesn't register that I've clicked at all.
From what I've read it's a common occurence among cheap or old mice. You pretty much just need to buy a new one or put up with it.

Stupid cheap mice :D
Just going to go ahead and buy a new one Wednesday I guess - perhaps one that is not delivered standardly with my laptop...

Mice don't like to be clicked. Just do like any normal person would do and keep it in a cage and feed it/love it regularly.

Also, I think the levels of immorality in this thread are astounding. You'd really throw a child off a boat for your own luggage? Wow.

I just wanted to ask your opinion on the following problem I have. Often, when I click my mouse ONCE, it seems to think I hit it TWICE. That is bloody annoying, at pretty much everything I do. How can I stop this from happening?
1. Update drivers (done)
2. Try different USB port (done)
3. Clean the mouse (done)
4. Ask other people for possible solutions (currently doing :P)
5. Throw the mouse out of the window, go to shop, spend 4 euro's and be happy with new mouse.
Thanks in advance for any answers!
