I couldn't name a single top elo player I know on EU that uses armor quints at all. :d
Armor seals are pretty much standard on most champs tho.
But hey, I don't want to argue with you. We play on different servers with different laning strategies and Riven is one of the top bans in ranked games EU atm and I know that my Riven rapes faces and Westrice plays a deadly Riven top on US. (Hipstermond: "I played her before she was mainstream.")

I do agree that as long as the player doesn't use armor runes, she's faceroll. ^_^
But if the player has... Yaknow. 30-40 armor in their runes, then she's really free and easy to beat in lane ^_^

He's really good as a solo, if he can win the lane.
He's really awful as a solo if he can't. It's hard for him to make the "come back."
So as long as you can win the lane then he's an absolute animal :)

Of the current top 5 best solo top champions that Dyrus mentioned in the quick Dyrus AMA on reddit, one was kennen and one was tryndamere. I can't remember the rest.
