Malzahar is a good AP Carry, but he isn't Kennen-level. His ultimate is just about the most annoying thing in the world.

I think he meant more his gameplay. It isn't "stay back and occasionally use spells".

Dont do it if you haven't played him imo. I thought I would love him but I just didn't click with his playstyle. Wasn't fun for me. Still a solid champ
