The fact that items have effects really passes off something else, too. Take DFG. You can get DFG and have the active, or you could get a Deathcap and do damage all the time and not in bursts.

It really depends on the effect, though.


Well see there are definitely times to use it, though. My roommate takes DFG on AP Kog'Maw because he knows if anyone gets close enough to catch him he's going to be insta-killed, so if anyone gets close enough he DFGs them. Rabadon's might do more sustained damage, but you do no damage when dead, so...

Im a DFG fanatic, and personally this is better on assassins or tank killers. Its not best for sustained dmg mages.


Mages shouldn't be killing tanks in the first place, that's for the AD champions. You just waste cooldowns if you try that as AP.

Assassins, maybe. If it's a farming close range assassin, such as Veigar or Fizz, then it has viability since they can get a Kage's early on if they're not doing so well.

I think there is a pretty good balance at the moment.

There's a point where having too many active-use items becomes cumbersome - it can already be a little hectic if you are playing an assassin character with a lot of CDR + gunblade/DFG, or an AP with CDR + DFG + hourglass, something along those lines.

And as someone else mentioned, I always forget my hourglass active - always. I don't understand, because I am relentless with my wriggles wards and my stealth revealing.

The biggest problem is when you have so many

I used to play Xin Zhao with a Ghostblade, SoTD and Randuins

I would E in, then press W,Q,R,1,2,3 XD

But the amount of times I missed one of those

An item like Blinkdagger would be bought by everyone, like boots. There's no point in doing that.

I played DotA where Kelen's Dagger has been used so many times, its no fun at all, think about it, initation would be a no brainer, Lee-sin not needing to hit hes Q, also introducing this item will eliminate Fiddle as other AP Carries will just get the dagger and do the same as Fiddle (Karthus, Kennen). I disagreed that a Blink item should be introduced to LoL.
If League of Legends is gay, then I am super****.

DFG uses AP, so we are talking about mages. Burst doesnt kill tankers and you said that sustain dmg mages shouldnt get it. Something is wrong
