Well Skarner has all the tools you want in an Offtank, maybe a bit too much utility, but I wouldn't say his damage is ridiculous. I mean most people that aren't squishy stand a chance against him...and by that I mean alot of other melee ads and people with good CC.(Skarners pretty kitable if you can knock down his shield)

I've played Skarner. Plenty, actually. I consider myself a good jungler.
Easy wins for me, I just coasted by.
He's Like Udyr, with an actually game changing ult.
