They really put alot of work into this. And if you can overlook the horrible refrences ( there is a quest there you have to ride a big daddy) it is really awsome.

I lvled 10-12 chars to lvl 70 (quite fiew werent even mine) so i am done lvling all i cared about was endgame and raiding (40M-25M) after they implemented TotC and HC-TotC i gave up any hope... i just wanted to defeat LK and get the **** out of there. Doing same stuff on HC is totaly not fun at all...

Yeah the game is just a rollercoaster ride now. Hop on, get in line, go for a ride, get some prizes and spend your tickets lol... Which has also killed a lot of the social aspect. Used to be you'd have to talk to people, get together, travel to the dungeon, get in and get ready, there was ritual to it, you got to know people... Now you just queue, BING teleport in, nobody talks at all you just run as fast as you can through the instance and as soon as the reward drops everyone is gone. They were all from other servers anyways so you'll never play with them again. Half the players don't even know WHERE these dungeons are because they've never had to travel there.
Even raiding which doesn't yet have a queue has gotten to that point... No fun. Either you're in a faceless PUG with a bunch of people that all seem to hate each other and the game itself, or you're in a full time position in a guild with a calendar and job titles work to be done :P Yay.
Anyways! I've been checking out the new stuff too, it is pretty nice. I have a stack of heirlooms waiting for a Worgen Warlock that will be checking out the noob areas. Some of the references are no longer funny though, I agree... The CSI Miami one in the new Deadmines definitely made me chuckle. There's also a new quest with this knight in Un'Goro Crater where you have to hunt "DRAGONS!!!!" and save damsels in distress... I was killing myself on that one. The new Gnome starter area is great, although I was hoping they'd actually open up Gnomer as a city finally... I want a Gnomer city!!!!! Also a lot of the zones aren't really changed much at all. Basically they just progressed time forward a couple years. Some bridges got knocked out, some bridges got built, some camps grew, some moved, and that's it. There are a few zones that are entirely rebuilt though, like Azshara and 1kn/shimmering flats. Some maps that really needed it, have been split into two maps, like Barrens and (no more barrens chat) and Stranglethorn. There are a million flight paths everywhere, it's out of control now with flight paths.

Yes i know i am a sinner... but the new zones are SO AWSOME! in the last days. i tried out. Azshara, stone talon mountains. Southern barrens. Wester plauge lands. 1k needles. tanaris. un'goro crater. and silithus.
Wanna know how awsome it was ... how many booring parts there were? 1 booring part. and that was when i was ganked by a stupid ally 80 in tanaris...
I can only recomend doing all these new quests... blizzard really did a great job. and if the keep the same quality in end game cata... Well then there is no reason to not start playing it again...
