Likewise :)

Why not go Lichbane+Deathcap and tanking items ? seems better since all spells scale with AP and you still able to deal a decent amount of burst damage.. + your healing is way better.

Start with philosopher stone and heart of gold, follow up with sheen and buy Deathcap after.

Seems more valid imo ?

Because with AD, you can get Frozen Mallet, which means you will be able to permaslow them, instead of just stunning and let them run. Besides, if you get in there and hit minions, you will recover lost mana, which means you can heal for extended periods of time, since the cooldown is reduced for each hit. If you want a passive healer champ, get Soraka or Sona instead, much better.

IMO you maximize the entire skillset together with AD Taric, while AP Taric only focuses on more burst and stronger insta-heal. After your combo, you're basically useless as AP. If you go AD, you continue pounding on them, since they won't focus you, and then you can heal those who get focused, while continuously re-stunning and debuffing them, and keeping your Aegis of the Legion and Radiance alive for your whole team.
There is no victory without humility.

Well you can still get the mallet after the deathcap or even before if you prefer that. I only have mana problems with taric in the early stage of the game. I've been testing different builds with taric the last few days. And I noticed that burst taric is alot better for midgame. But everyone play different styles and ain't that the beauty of LoL ? :)
