You forget though, Shen and Pantheon have a cosmetic that cant be hidden in brush like TF's can. Shen has a small bubble that enemies can see to let them know that he is coming in. Pantheon has the ring to show the AoE and that can be avoided. TF however can put his ult in a bush and be safe.
Again, bad timing can ruin that Ult. I do agree that the mobility and chance of defeating a gank are high early and mid game, but it still takes a certain skill.

I think the more appropriate question is What guides do YOU think you should be using? just because a guide is rated way higher than the others, doesnt mean it is better. Well, it does, but doesnt mean its better for YOU. if you dont like the playstyle, find a different guide. Its all about trying new things. Take chaotic for example. He has completely unique theory crafting, and he loves his builds. Or do what i do. Take a build, use it, then tweak it to how you like the build. Its effective.
Thats true to Nine.
The best way to find something that works for you, is to try everything. I might be contradicting my self Im not sure, but looking through everything, researching, and trying multiple playstyles will give you an idea of what works best for you.
And, like Nine said, when you find something that fits your play style, but isnt they way you like it, tweak it. There is nothing wrong with that. But if you build and post here, it might be best to give a shout out to your inspiration.
Making a standard everyday build, is one thing. But following a unique guide, changing a few things, doesnt make it 'new' or 'your idea'. Give credit where credit is due. Code of Theory Crafting.

The answer is very easy.
You should use my guides only.
and i i dont own a guide for a champion you would like to play that means that champion is ******ed and considered a free kill, so you shouldnt play him at all...
on some srs note, use your own guide. The one you have in your head after reading fiew ideas on a champion. Guides rarely are good if you cant finetune them for your own playstyle.
