I typically like Ghost over Teleport, so my Offense Tree looks like:

+4 AP anyway? If you're still taking teleport, Summoner's Wrath does nothing for you so I'd take a 2 & 2 point split instead of Mental Force .

Otherwise, I love the build. My Utility Tree typically looks a bit different but the +Gold masteries are intriguing, to say the least. I'd certainly be willing to test it out a bit.

Sorry bud, but those masts are awful. Since his ratios changed, Ryze gets absolutely nothing from the upper levels of the Offense Tree other than Sorcery & Arcane Knowledge . He benefits much more from the Utility Tree and it's foolish to waste points just for Executioner . Believe me, he gets plenty of kills without it!

Pretty good build, kind of standard though. Here are a few suggestions to improve it.

1. use BBcode, it's very pretty at the end, read this for an excellent guide on how to make a guide.

2.Update items! There are many alternatives available, and many ways of building the same items. You should make a sub-section saying in what order to build items in what situations. For an example I will use my own Urgot guide here, though I'm sure there are better ways, this version is good enough for me (just use the approximate template of possible situations =D)

3. Explain the champion's skills (including innate) and possible summoner spell choices.

4. Show possible runes/masteries alternatives.

5. Finally in my opinion, Ryze is better off with masteries like this:
