Hey guys!

I took a really long break from blogging and I am glad to come back and post my thoughts! I just want to take this time to talk about the champions I'm using and why I am using them.

I would like to do a weekly blog where I talk about the champion I am currently playing most of, seeing as it changes weekly. I am not going to be like those other bloggers who claim to do a "weekly" blog and only post once. I will, however, not promise to get the blog out each and every week on-the-dot. Seeing as I may not have the "Literary Juices" to crank out another post that week, it might be delayed.
Without further delay...

Let's start with

Master Yi!

I have always had this weird on-and-off relationship with Yi. When I first began playing LoL I played a lot of Yi, but in a weird way. I used to start off with an Amplifying Tome and one potion. This was either totally ******ed or a stroke of genius. I would quickly build that Tome into a Hextech Revolver. Then a Hextech Gunblade. But keep in mind this was a LONG time ago, pre spell vamp/revolver nerf. This system worked so well for me in the past, but has definitely lost it's "umph". I would max "Alpha Strike" immediately and never use "Meditate" or my "Wuju Style".

I took a REALLY long break from Yi and just came back a couple of days ago. Ohhh was that fun. I decided to try different custom Yi builds throughout the night and come up with what I think is best. Funny enough, I have never looked at an actual MobaFire Build for Yi, so I was going blind. (I still have not looked at one.) I came up with this.

Skill Sequence!

Grab Alpha Strike, then Wuju Style x2, then Meditate at level 4. Max Wuju style immediately, followed by Alpha strike, then Meditate.

I get Wuju Style maxed first because the way I build Yi early game requires decent AD (Attack Damage) early game. I max Alpha Strike next for the craaaaazy damage mid-game. I grab Meditate at level 4 because its really nice to have in case of a necessary heal.

Items!

Start with Boots and ONLY HEALTH POTIONS! The biggest mistake I have seen Yi players make is taking Mana Pots. Just learn Mana Conservation. Grab a dagger and build straight to Beserker's Greaves. Get a Phantom Dancer ASAP. (As Soon As Possible) Then build a Blood Thirster, Infinity Edge, Grab either another Blood Thirster or Phantom Dancer depending on the team-comp and then maybe a defensive item. HOLD ON NOW! If the enemy team is getting armor, a Black Cleaver is an awesome option instead of a second Blood Thirster or Phantom Dancer. I usually get a Guardian Angel for the awesome Armor and Magic Resist, but its up to you. I get a defensive item because seeing as Master Yi is melee and a DPS, he has to take a beating ON TOP of deal damage, and sometimes, life steal just isn't enough. A Frozen Hammer is an AWESOME CHOICE if you are finding yourself having to chase down a lot of people. (Usually "Highlander" [Yi's Ultimate] takes care of that though.)

Make sure to share your thoughts in the Comments! I would love to hear about how you build Yi or whether or not you like the way I play him!
