We have had less than a handful of complaints about viruses over the history of MOBAFire, and those very few times someone has raised a concern it involved all kinds of other variables (prior virus issues and no OS reinstall, existing hardware problems, confusion over what your browser is actually capable of, outdated software, etc etc). Our networks do not serve viruses. Keep your scanners running and updated (and choose a good one), keep your software licensed and updated, be careful what you download, etc... Also remember that correlation does not equal causation.

Well, we only use a small hand full of networks so, probably :) The networks try to target ads that they think would be interesting to you. If you were researching a virus concern or looking up anti-virus software, you probably got targeted by a company trying to sell such tools. Happens to me all the time, I am currently getting nothing but network/hosting ads... and the occasional "tropical getaway" ad......... hmmmmmmm lol :)
