the problem with adding an 'other' would give it votes for different games. several people already said skyrim as their favorite of 2011, and i'd rather not see an other dominate this one because of the huge number of games released last year.

Because gaming has become such a great industry you cant put a poll for best game with 10 choices, while we counted like 50 alone in this thread. Opinions are so different that this poll would be endless with many 1 votes and maybe few dominant games like Skyrim.

Yeah and that's the reason such polls are pointless, its better to just make a thread and everyone says it, no voting. Polls are more like for "Is warmog good on X champion" with like 3 answers: Yes/No/Yes, if combined with some other items.
