How to counter Ryze

Almost every caster outbursts Ryze early, so saying "wins trades early" is like saying "is an AP caster".[/quote]

Ziggs has significantly higher range than Ryze, and can harass with spells from outside of Ryze's range. Ziggs also punishes chasing really easily. I'm not saying Ziggs wins lane against Ryze (because he doesn't), but it would be foolish to say that Ryze has an advantage in fighting. Ziggs also can take advantage of Doran's Ring stacking (which is useless to Ryze) to make up for any DPS difference with extra HP. It would be foolish to try and 100-0 Ziggs early game on Ryze. Even if you can outDPS Ziggs in a 100-0 fight, if you don't kill him, he fares better when retreating, and if you fuck up, you won't get away.[/quote]
