You can make a custom game, and play 1v1, but you will earn less IP than in a normal matchmaking game.

He's wrong, you get less IP for custom games and you're limited in how many you can get IP from per day.

Just win a lot of normal games thats the fastest way to gain IP without SPENDING real life money.

Personally I wouldnt waste my time AFK'ing in Custom games. Rather go PvP and have some fun farming up IP. Dont make gaining IP your focus else you will get very bored/irritated of/with LoL. Can get repetitive>_<

A friend told me the same. If you want to level up and gain a lot of IP, then Dominion is the way just because those match are a lot shorter than a normal match

Dominion is better then normal games...let me do tha maths.
Dominon=35 mins per game, win: ip 150 (150/35=4.29 ip/min)
Normal=55 or hour per game, win: ip 250 (250/57.5=4.35 ip/min)
but i will say, if you're buzy....you shouldn't be farming ip with normal games, you don't wannna leave. Plus I feel dominion gives you more ip, cuz they tend to end quite fast sometimes.
