I think this guide is a great starting point, and I am still a pretty new player. But there are plenty of items now which work really when on Jax which aren't mentioned. Zephyr is a personal favourite, especially as it allows you to buy berserker or ninja boots, without forgoing tenacity.

A proper S3 update would really help.

This is a great build but you should rethink the commentary on guinsoo's for season 3. The additional unique passive pretty much gives you a (weak)gunblade without the active if you fall below 50% hp, although that isn't desirable it gives you great survivability and damage if you build it as your first item. It's now an AS, AP, AD and lifesteal/spellvamp item, it's an expensive starter but it's everything you need across the board. That's just my opinion anyway.

In THE items section it says up to date, but it contains a regrowth pendant, so it isn't. Please update that.
Also, I think it would help to list the individual components of bigger items in the cheat sheet so people don't necessarily have to scroll all the way down to see all the individual item purchases. Have a look at some other updated top guides that implement that.
If you fix this simple stuff, you'll get my +1

Look it's good build but no S3 items mentioned also try iceborn instead of TF gives better slow aoe burst and tankiness TF doesn't give the cdr is nice 2 u have ur q,w every time up great 4chasing
Also what TF offers that iceborn doesn't just ats crit and ms which I think u have enough ats and crit is wasted u can get ms from tier3 boots and the hp TF gives can be solved with armor of iceborn really must think over TF again it's nerfed in S3 and price is higher slow is not reliable ppl escape .... U may say that gun blade has slow but it's on long cd also in da middle of a 5vs5 fight with a lot of cc who really remembers 2 use active.
just ppl pick TF it's core they don think why? My reason 4 TF was simply sheen which is now available through ice born

Trinity Force sucks on Jax. Way inferior compared to Guinsoo's Rageblade. You get the same boost from Guinsoo's Rageblade for halve the price. And You have enough slows with Hextech Gunblade and Blade of the Ruined King. You didn't even mention it. Man, this guide sucks. Pretty much any Jax guide on mobafire sucks...

Well I like the way you build Jax and you seem to really know how to play him.
The only thing I disagree with is that you say that Guinsoo's Rageblade falls off Lategame.
They hardly buffed it, I love this item. I nearly pick this item every time on him, it just makes you too strong. Also you get everything you need - and a combination of Runic Bulwark and Guardian Angel gives a nice amount of armor/mr and even health too.

Nice build, but I've got an interesting bit of info for you :D

So I'm not sure how long this'll last, but a friend of mine has discovered a way to solo baron as jax at around 25 minutes. You can even solo at 20 if you snowball hard enough.

So pretty much what you'll need is two or three items :P You need Blade of the Ruined King, and you need Wriggle's Lantern. Also, it helps if you have a Guinsoo's, it makes for a much quicker clear.
Anyways, so normally when I do this it'll be 25 minutes in, I'll have all three of these items if I'm going well, maybe even a Zephyr, and I can easily solo baron. With the passives from wriggles and BoRK, you have more than enough damage/sustain. Try it! And quick, before Riot does something about it :P
