Actually it's the best item against AP champions :p
I played a game with a bulwark and my allied blitz walked up with aegis and I received both buffs
As with all aura items, your champion receives the base stats, as well as the aura. So you get sixty MR. Also, though I have yet to play so I can't say this with one hundred percent confidence, the aura fro Aegis and Runic are different, so you should be able to stack an Ageis of the Legion with Runic Bulwark in order to have an amazing aura for you team. (Combine that with a Zekes and I think we will see a really strong aura meta come out in season three.)
Aegis and Bulwark auras doesn't stack cause both are called Legion and it's written that auras with the same name doesn't stack.
Great tanky item, quite a good idea to give an upgrade to Aegis to make it good lategame
