;D
Lanewick has great sustain but little damage in early game. Just passively farm, and kill him when your jungler comes to gank. If you can kill him 1-2 times before he gets level 6 I think you have a good advantage :)
Anyhow I rather suck at playing solo top so it might be better if someone else gives his/her opinion on this :P

GP. Get executioner's calling. Spam the active on it. Be a major **** to his health regen and passive healing/Q strikes.
Proceed to get other resists and whatever else he builds and huehuehue your way to a win top lane. Just remember to save oranges for his ult.

Sig courtesy of GrandmasterD. Go get your own sig from them. :D
Riven/Lee Sin are the best picks against him imo
As Riven you just need to play really agressive early on. He won't be able to outsustain your damage, you can shield a big part of his Q damage if you time it right and if you can't kill him, you'll push him up to his tower where he struggles to last hit.
As Lee Sin you do basically the same thing as with Riven except you have a ton of sustain yourself.
Basically the key is to outdamage his sustain while having a way to not slowly die to his Q's. Either that or get a strong, safe pusher and make him miss last hits under the turret and just outfarm him.

I 100% agree with Lugingnaf, I'd really be scared of Gangplank and 100% disagree with Lee Sin being a good counter pick. Every single Lee I've faced as Lanewick was destroyed so much their team raged about him in the all chat saying he was a baddie. But those guys were only your standard decent Lee, neither very good or bad, but only had 45-70 cs by 20 minutes...
Maybe you could beat them if you have a massive magic resist rune page, but even then, I'm still not quite sure about it.
