It's a great idea, and I think all the editors and vets etc. are fine with it. Maybe if we added it in the support forums it would stay alive a little better as well.

If I helped you, click that +rep!

This is a pretty good idea. +Rep for bringing it up. I like the code "", seems pretty good.

FYI got some bbcode changes coming shortly. The two that you guys are looking for are in in the form of a width setting for the columns tag, and a new "space" tag.

[columns=100] will make all columns 100px wide. You can then override the width, if you want, for individual columns with [nextcol=100]. You can also put width=100, like [columns width=100] if you want, but that's just more typing.

The [space] tag will automatically add a 20pixel gap. We may adjust this in the future though, the reason it's 20px is that this is a pretty good amount to indent a paragraph by. If you leave it with the default, then your paragraphs will all be indented by a uniform amount. If you want to use it for other things, like gaps between images for example, you can override the width with [space=100] or [space width=100].

In case you're wondering why it's called "space" and not "indent", that's because an indent tag already exists in standard bbcode and its purpose is to add left-padding to a block of text. This will not indent a block of text, it will simply insert a specific width of "white space" right where you put it, wherever that may be. Also, since you will likely want to use it for other spacing (like gaps between images), the name works better :)

I will have these new features up in the next day or two. I'm open to suggestions on how to tweak this in the mean time. Now is the time to speak up as, once people have started using it we can't really change it.

Is there any way we can get a right indent as well?
Or is that just a combo if floatright+indent?
