Armor? Flat armor yellows blues and even possibly reds and quints and starting with cloth 5?
If you're losing the lane even like that then I think it's just personal reflex / positioning.
Try not to stand in his double E range and last hit when he's used his abilities / you know he's going to take more damage from engagements.

Well, I just suggested
Yorick cause then you can just mash your E and W buttons. Probably want to go Boots + 3x health pots,
Tear of the Goddess,
Chain Vest, Tier 2 boots, then probably
Giant's Belt. You'll build them into
Manamune,
Atma's Impaler, and
Warmog's Armor.
Late Game build would look like this:
Tier 2 boots
Manamune
Warmog's Armor
Atma's Impaler
Force of Nature
Trinity Force OR
Frozen Mallet

If you really have that much trouble with
Renekton in lane, get tier 2 boots and get 2
Chain Vests, picking up
Tear of the Goddess along the way. If you play
Yorick against
Renekton, try to wait until he's already used
Cull the Meek (he spins around and heals), so that he doesn't AoE your ghouls. Trades should be pretty easy, just drop your
Omen of Famine when he
Slice and Dices to you. You can either slow him when he comes in, or when he try to run away, so that you can get
Omen of War off, and a couple of auto attacks as well.
You might also want to check out the mentoring forums, if you keep having a bunch of trouble. I know there are tons of great people there that would be glad to help you learn how to play against him.

Counterpick is Jarvan.
Free armor from E and a %HP damage on his passive. Only thing is that Renek can just S+D out of your ult and he has more natural sustain than Jarvan. Wriggles to counter.
If it's a good Renekton, they're going to be going balls out aggressive with either ignite/exhaust , ignite/heal or exhaust/heal. They're also going to be packing full armor pen runes and rushing brutalizer for maximum annoyances.
Fight him right after he's used
Cull the Meek and only in short engagements. His skills have deceptively short cooldowns.

^ Why didn't I think of that?
I would assume
Malphite is also a good counter. Free shield from passive to help reduce burst, tons of damage (trademark Phreak :P) with
Ground Slam and
Seismic Shard, and a free armor boost from
Brutal Strikes.
I would assume

Also, Udyr terrorizes Renekton.

I haven't tried that much armor. I usually use flat armor yellows, start cloth 5 depending on champ, and build whatever item requires a chain vest first.

I probably will check out the mentoring forums haha, he's the only champ that I have absolutely no idea how to beat.
Is a chalice even worth getting on Yorick then? I would get it so I can spam my abilities without the worry of mana. But is more armor a priority, over being able to spam abilities?
