I think healing is a very general term, I will define it as life recovery.
Spirit Visage improves life recovery greatly, no matter what kind of life recovery happens
If Soraka uses her heal while YOU (not her) have a Spirit Visage on, you will gain the additional life recovery from the passive
If you have a Vampiric Scepter and auto attack a minion while having a Spirit Visage, you will gain additional life from the lifesteal
Same thing with everything else. It only increases life recovery.

The techinal term 'to heal' only constitutes the ability to heal without having to actively attack anything, thus lifesteal and spell vamp are excluded. BUT
accounts for all healing affects; including lifesteal, spell vamp, basically everything that Vladimir does, self heals, and AoE heals. Yes, in this case it refers to the general life recovery. Basically anything that heals you will be affected by
.

Personal habitual activites? Utilizing gargantuan idioms to fabricate intelligence.

Ok, I'm getting somewhat incomplete answers.
So far I've learned that healing can be defined as any life recovery, and so life steal and spell vamp will get affected by
Spirit Visage.
But what about increases in max HP? For example Chogath's
Feast and Jax's Passive
Relentless Assault+
Guinsoo's Rageblade stacks will give them an increase in maxHP and regular HP during battle. Does the regular HP increase constitute as HP recovery and get affected by
Spirit Visage?

Again, it's life recovery When Cho'Gath feasts a unit, he recovers some health due to his passive BUTT his ultimate does NOT recover health. It only maxes out the health. I'm not sure how Jax's passive works in conjunction with Rageblade (the more stacks it gets the more AP he gets but does his max health change with the AP increase or does it stay at the highest AP, etc. etc.).
In short: Feast + Spirit Visage =/= more max health, just more regen from his passive.

Um wait so you're saying that Chogath's

I just want to keep smiling FOREVER

Yep, he doesn't have 100% recovery with his ult.

As B-Wong said.
Feast increases your Max HP Pool (more or less like you would buy ruby crystal), you get the HP with the item, it is not considered a heal, this works also just like the red potion. You can drink it in midfight to "heal" yourself. But you will just increase your max hp.
Spirit visage will not affect the feast hp boost.
It works with:
Heals - Taric/Sona/Soraka and so on
HP gains - WW passive/Irelia W/Cho'gath passive/Xin passive and so on
Lifesteal
SpellVamp
Anything i missed?

I know the obvious sources like the summoner spell Heal or Soraka's
Reason I'm curious is because of the item
Thanks in advance for taking the time to read my question and sate my curiosity
