I think it's and okay guide, not a lot of detail and what not, good explanations on skills and masteries, I cant say I agree with your runes or masteries 100% though. For "Tanky" Xin i don't really agree with the AS runes, you get more AS form level one Battle Cry's passive than you do from all the AS runes, and for the Atmogs build i just can't agree on AD per level runes, they're useless until level 9+ when they start catching up like most per level runes. imo flat AD early game would be much more beneficial for farming and when receiving a gank, or Arm Pen get runes for mid game and late game when you have the AD and need to get through the Armor. Then for quints maybe Arm Pen if you decide to keep the AD runes. Also for your masteries, over all they're pretty spot on, but for the Deadliness and Havoc part, I disagree. Late game 1.5% of 180 ad is around 3 or so ad, while late game the 0.5 ad per lvl, at 18, gives you 9 ad. 9 ad or around 3 ad? The tanky build seems alright, little odd with the Wits End but after thinking about it and looking at the stats it seems pretty decent, though possibly a bit more hp? For the Atmogs build i REALLY think you should get Warmogs first then Atmas and continue on with you super AD burst build. Because what good is getting Warmogs 3rd item? it would have to be a very long game and if your team was doing great you might not even get the atmas or the full stacked warmogs. and if its called "Atmogs" build, then shouldn't that be the most important part, not the BC and PD? Also a lot of the time when people hear of "Atmogs" they'd think it'd be a really tanky build with dmg from Atmogs and maybe frozen mallet only, like Atmogs FoN FM GA and boots. Also you say you don't like glass cannon Xin, then you turn around and build pretty much that with a little bit of extra HP, and not even till well into mid game or even early game. Other from all that you do a pretty good job of explain some things, you just need to flesh it out and finish up! i'll be checking later for finished guide to see its its +1 or -1.

While I do agree with the mastery and item choice changes for atmogs I am keeping my runes...especially if I am grabbing points in deadliness I want the extra AS from runes to give me the most out of my mastery points. On the other hand the Atmog runes I am keeping because the quints with flat AD coupled with the point in the minion damage mastery gives me plenty easy farm and early game damage potential while the AD per level marks give me that boost in late game damage

I just don't agree with kadun, because I think that PD is great item! One more thing. You tanked a bit your Xin,that is good thing. If you want my advice for build, here it is(it is final because it would be long):Ninja Tabi,Phantom Dancer(but sure, you really can switch PD for ghostblade,it is all in your opinion, both are good),Warmog's Armor,Bloodthirster,Atma's Impaler and Force of Nature. That way you will heal and rarely will be dead because of HP,Magic Resist and Life Steal(Armor is not the brightest thing in my build).

That's it from me!

While I do agree that phantom dancer is in fact, a great item on Xin, Wit's End gives enough attackspeed and resistance to serve the purpose of initiating and killing a squishy then beating it just a bit better than PD. Your build sounds good in late game, but the early to mid would be so difficult due to xin's low early game damage compared to other champs. Which is why most people decide to rush a black cleaver.

I do appreciate the feedback nontheless! :)

I feel this rune is necessary while using laning Xin Zhao. Mostly because while you are laning with him you are going solo top or bottom lane, and the majority of the champions you are playing will be AD.
Doesn't that make it compulsory? You would definetely want to use armor in jungling, and what's besides laning and jungling? Oh right afking, but what else?
A.K.A. I believe this should be compulsory --
Oh and need more info, images etc. Feels too brief.

I wont downvote, cause i hate doing that, but you really need to add some laning, counter laning, good/bad choices for the Xin.

Build related:
But as you said yourself people will focus You so with the name "Poison's Tanky Xin" you expect him to be more tanky, but he's not,

First: Berserk's Greaves are actally kinda bad on him, since he can't do any damage when he's getting cc'd to death, merc's/ninja tabi are better choices.

Second: Please no phantoms, they are really not that great on him, yes i know he benefits a lot from attack speed, but you might consider Ghostblade instead since it gives some better stats

Third: You really need more survival, with only like 55 magic resist you wont last long, you got some decent armor due to atmas, but you might consider wit's end(replacement for phantom) or even force of nature(replacement for bloodthirster),

Runes related:
You might consider strength marks or some strength marks since the armor pen are really not that great early game and xin needs to win his lane
For glyph i would rather take attack speed, since the damage are so small or else i would do magic resist if im against AP lane

Overall:
Please don't pick all the items needed for an "greater items", it's only annoying to look at, second you can add what of the items to get first and then just the "greater item"

I will not downvote, but i will check back for comment

This build is great, but maybe you should take masteries for Life Steal instead of damage per level.
