I really do hope you find a way to implement commenting IF someone wanted to downvote a build. My Xin Zhao build was among the top builds at its time and I've had to archive it because of trolls comparing mine to Booshido's.
EDIT: HeAt, I do appreciate your builds and I have found many of them useful. I honestly believe that people mass downvote the worthy ones to get theirs read more often. I also believe that because you're a Veteran you're at a disadvantage towards trolls.
+1 Respect point to you kind sir.

Thanks, Flash. There needs to be some kind of fix, and soon, but nobody's quite sure what. Still, I feel terrible about some of our best guide-writers (HeAt and Alahric) leaving because of trolls...
One more suggestion: Maybe make it so that you can't vote until you reach a post cap (say, 25 or 50) and you can eliminate the obvious trolls because they won't contribute anything useful.

I personally think the top 20 or so players with the highest Ranked ELO should get to decide which builds are the highest rated and most viable. But that's just me, we've all been trolled and I have learned to just suck it up and continue releasing content in hopes of sharing my ideas and helping others become better players.
In a sense that's what everyone wants. Anonymity and opinions are honestly what ruins making guides for me. I put much effort into that one guide that I made only to receive downvotes for having "bad" items. Everyone needs to have a professional standpoint when contributing towards a guide, so I believe the post minimum would be a great idea.
I don't know if you guys agree with me, but I see my builds as my own way to play my champion. It's a personal opinion, and people have the right to agree or not. However, I do dislike how people won't even take a small glance at my guides and downvote because they want their guide to look better. HOWEVER, I promise you guys that I'll be around as long as there's one person still interested in my builds, and needs help.
I'm sorry to see you go heAt.

The reason I disagree with having a select group of veterans or high-ELO players is that it creates a feel of an anarchy - every top build is selected by this elite group and the "common users" have no say at all in what goes where. MOBAFire still needs to be reflective of the general consensus of the community, not of a small group. There just needs to be a way to eliminate the trolls that isn't as radical as what PFP suggests.
