probably, I think he's a bad champion, he falls off hard late game but stomps pubs early. A lot of people can't deal with him. He counters a few champions really hard. He can work to climb elo.

I think playing him in the Jungle or Top/Mid (or even bot with Soraka possibly) he is a really good snowballer, which helps win games. In the jungle he can really catch people off guard, and Panth jungle has been played in tournaments as a "surprise pick." Just make sure if you're playing him to snowball then win early, because he really falls off late game.

I agree with Moonites with the Jungle Pantheon I don't like it cause he has no sustain, sure his ganks are AMAZING, but there are a lot more jungles that are better. Pantheon is a good solo top seing as how he has good harras and an AoE that can hit and kill minions thus getting him farm.
I have never seen a mid Pantheon but it would probably be interesting seeing as how most mid champs are squishy and can't handle brutes such as Xin Zhao and Pantheon.

He can go in all lanes and jungle well. Just look at Oddone if you don't believe he can be jungled.

You can use him as a mid counterpick pretty effectively I like him better than lets say Talon in order to counter mid.
And hes definitely a great jungler or maybe its just the odd being Op.
Actually I believe you can climb elo with any champ so if you want to climb it with Pantheon go for it and have fun
