I can say for myself that 1200-1400 is the ELO hell. Seriously, when I was 1150, I had amazing fun games with people who actually understood the game. 1300? I play Riven with 4 BT, GA and Mercs and procceed to literally 1v5 and carry the game absolutely alone. The amount of skill level difference on this ELO is ******ed. 70% is luck, 30% is your effort, pick and everything else.

Lemme rephrase, if you are player that belongs in an Elo of 1400 or more you'll get there eventually, but the amount of time you will take is completly based on luck. You could just spend 500 games dancing around high 1200-1300 elo for a lot.

Well if you really really belong to let ssay 1500 or 1400. Then it is about skill to get there.
But if you are just a random guy trying to climb the elo ladder.. then you certainly need luck aswell.
For me, since I was a 1,4k Elo player before anyway, it was about skill till there.
But now that I am Gold (well I dropped recently) the way up to gold was a mixture of luck and skill.

I read it all, and I liked it ^^ I have to say that even at 1500 elo, people are still trolls. I can only assume people stop trolling at around 1600+.

After reading this thread, It was just another annoying thread about elo hell. Elo Hell is in ALL elos. Not just 1200-1400 or below 1000 elo. It doesn't stop at 1600 as well. There no pure end to elo hell.
This is just another pointless thread like most threads to tell you to stay calm, ect,ect. Its all the same.

People NEVER stop trolling even at 1900 elo (and even higher I suppose)
but after 1400 elo you start getting less losses because of people that do silly mistakes, you'll still always get them, but the higher you are the less are the odds.

But the time you take to get past 1400 is completly luck based, if you are good enough you will get over it, but you might take a lot.
