btw guys, just a tip. Always kill passive mobs. When mobs stay alive for a little while they give bonus xp, and the longer they stay alive the higher the bonus xp is. So, since not many people attack passive mobs, they tend to give 100+ bonus xp. Mobs that don't belong to any task and that people can just go through without being attacked usually give a lot of xp as well.

Because they're not going to give you free skill points and armour just so you can play in WvWvW. If they did then what would be the point in leveling or completing skill challenges? At least I would just spend all day on WvWvW.
Also, there are 4 types of npcs. critters, friendly, neutral and hostile. By passive I meant neutral, the ones that don't attack.
