But, what is exactly a tier? I think that it´s a rank of champions in order of effectivity, but i´m not really sure...And which tier is teh highest?
I know, n00b question...But hey, no one borns knowing.

Tristana has a bad mid game I dont think shes got her own tier (I do believe shes tier 1 though)
Kog is tier 1 imo with or without nunu
Tristana's mid game is not bad at all. She has a godly attack speed steriod, free escape, and the best knock back in the game. Tell me again how an adc with 2 forms of cc will have a bad mid game. Only put 2 points in explosive shot and max your q right after w, and enjoy melting people during 'mid game'. boots 3, dorans blade x2, zerk, IE, zeal and green pot. GG.
Kog is way too support dependant. He has a rough time against some of the popular mids ATM. (ez graves corki)

play ap shaco when their jungler has to start blue. walk to their wraith camp at 1:40, and start stacking boxes in the bush adjacent to wraiths. wait for them to walk in. instant 1st blood, and blue buff. gg ap shaco mid.
alistar jungle is too team dependent to carry in +/-1100 elo.
Nautilus is so not tanky, that he can get shredded when he ganks if his teammate doesn't back him up. Nautilus is too nerfed to be consider a solo queue terror anymore. Maokai does everything naut does but better.
tier lists are a way to rate champions. Basically, you put champs in tiers. the lower # the tier, the better. t1 way better than t3. Also, the earlier I mention a champ in a tier, the better they are. so the very 1st champ mentioned for tier 1 is what I consider the best. The last champ mentioned in a tier is the worst champ that can still be considered that tier. Nocturne is a godly jungler, but since his nerfs, he's lost power. he's not a t1 jungler, but he certainly is still amazing, hence #1 in t2.
