I've been meaning to play Code Veronica, but there isn't a PC version, is there?
Loved RE4, dunno anything about 2 and 3.
Played a little of RE1, but the clunky controls just made me annoyed :/

Old RE controls: you move like a tank. Takes some getting used to, but it's fine once you do.
I dont' think there's a PC version. There might be a crack, but you can always get a dreamcast emulator and play it if you're hard up to. Or, you can go buy a gamecube and a copy of CV. Funny enough, the game will cost more than the gamecube. LOL.
I highly recommend you play it, as well as 2-3.

The RE1 controls are just bad. There's no getting around that.
I've heard very little about RE2 and 3, they don't seem as critically acclaimed as RE4.
Code Veronica is for Gamecube, right? I have a Gamecube (with RE4 on :D), but I'm not really interested in playing a shooter game in low-as-****-res (also known as 480p).
I think I might be able to run it in Dolphin (GC and Wii emulator), I've tried Mario Galaxy in that and got good speed and 1080p :D, but I still need a proper Gamecube controller for my PC. I have no idea of where to find those :(

Um. RE2 was highly praised, was even game of the year for a few publications. Just play them. Re1 controls are not bad. They are what they are. I can pop that ****er in anyday and move around just fine. It takes about 20 minutes to get used to, which isn't too demanding. It's difficult to set a control scheme when your game is on fixed camera. They had to make the controls the way they did to keep people from changing direction every time the camera angel changed. I suggest you actually PLAY the game before talking ****. I appreciate you just played re4 and 5, but you know, there's like 6+ years of RE games you're missing out on.

What? I said that I did play RE1. No need for fanboy-ism. ಠ_ಠ
The game might have been good by the standards of the time it was released, but compared to good games today it is lacking in graphics, story and controls. (but graphics are not super important) It doesn't matter if they "had to make the controls the way they did" because of the fixed camera, it's still very unintuitive.
And correct me if I'm wrong, but after looking up pictures of the other games they seem to have the same camera problem, so it's unlikely that I'll be playing them.
It doesn't matter to me if there's 6+years of RE I'm missing out on. I just wanna play good games, and it's not like the story of RE is a masterpiece.

And RE 5 was good, and REALLY FUN ON CO-OP ;D
Ya, but it also wasn't very good in singleplayer. Going from a human partner to AI is like shooting their brains out.
This video illustrates exactly how I feel about the game:

This is also why I'm scared that RE6 is gonna fail to be great.
