Meh, I'll give this a upvote.
I mean sure it's a guide made by veteran, but so what.
I've seen worse guides getting +1.
not sure whether I should be complimented or what lol...

I don't think this is even finished. You will have damage output but no ressistance...
200 armor is no resistances...?
k.
You just copied parts from Wingsofdeathx's guide. I'll congratulate you on the effort of trying to make a guide but at least try and make it original.
tell me where I copied Wingsofdeathx's guide and i'll change it, but far as I know I haven't copied anything.
Yes I used it as a resource since he's one of the best Riven players, but I'm pretty sure I didn't blatantly copy anything lol
About Riven: Riven is an aggressive melee champion who deals a lot of damage.
Runes: You should use the runes in the cheatsheet.
Masteries: You should use the masteries in the cheatsheet. You want a bunch of offense and some defense.
Mid game Items: You want to get treads or tabi after your first big item. You should follow the build in the cheatsheet, but you can also build more bloodthirsters if you have lots of money. Don't finish Maw before BT. You can build Brut and SV against a magic heavy team if you want.
I just put most of the information in your guide into this tiny post, omitting the summoner spells, skill section and a bit of the items section. It shouldn't be this easy to summarize.
Also notice how your entire guide tells people what to do, but rarely do you explain why. In your skill section you point out that you can max Q IF you're in a matchup where you need to win all-in trades because Q has more damage output (ex. Rumble). That's being specific and explaining things clearly. If you wanted to go a step further, you could have a row of champion icons with all the matchups for which you'd use that skill order. From your guide, I have no idea why Riven can build just a GA for survivability. I don't know why GA is superior to other defensive options. I don't know how to decide between tabi and treads (vs heavy AP and vs heavy AD is not specific enough as most teams are pretty closely balanced).
Most importantly, I have no idea how to play Riven. I have information on what her skills do and which ones I should max. I know a little bit about how they work together. I have no information on lane aggression, trading, specific matchups, warding, roaming, when to push, when to lasthit or how to receive jungler ganks. I have no information on Riven's role in a team fight, what your goals should be and how to use your abilities effectively there.
If all of your sections were as detailed as your skill section, I might not have downvoted. I still wouldn't come close to upvoting though without some actual gameplay advice beyond what skill to max. The "discover it for yourself" attitude isn't fitting for what's supposed to be a guide.
If you're not willing to do more or you think what you have is sufficient, that's fine. You shouldn't be surprised if people are unsatisfied with it though.
