I really don't think i need to tell you what i think but i will anyway in that your W is your most important spell and although i take it first id settle for maxing it first in most situations. also in your explanation you say you may max w second against melee champs other than kassadin and talon. but wouldn't they be the best to do that with since they will be in auto attack range and its the only damage you have while silenced?

I agree on the point that Q is not your main source of damage. Additionally, both the masteries, Mental Force and Havoc are fairly weak. Since Fizz is partially an auto-attack champion, you'll do much better putting three points in Brute Force for increased damage output and farming ability, while putting the remaining three points in Havoc since it's sorta an all-in mastery so to speak. It's bad in the first place, but AP casters don't have anything better to go for, and it's only useful with three points in it.

Cool. Really, maxing q is 100% the worst way to go. If you max E, you can shove your wave with 1 ability and go roam. If you max w, you get the best killing potential possible. E is the safest bet.

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to try it sometime. I've tried maxing my Q and W first and prefer the Q, but I've never tried going for my E. Sounds interesting though.

"Q is not your main source of damage. W is. Maxing q gives you 120 damage. Big whoop. Maxing w, or better yet e, will significantly bump up your damage. Also, no DFG?

Maxing q is the worst way you can go w/ fizz."

I will take into consideration your opinion in the Ability Sequence section. Also, the DFG is in the Situational Items section, where I explain why you might want to get the item.
