It is definitely not the elo, I feel anything below platinum is kind of a joke considering I'm on a serious team, and my team makes sure to make fun of my elo on a daily basis as well xD. I'm just too lazy and don't have the motivation to solo queue anymore. Its definitely the competitive team.

Definitely Jungle and Mid. Your jungler should be your primary defender of lanes so that they don't get smashed into the ground. Whenever a lane loses and I am jungling, I ask myself, what could I have done differently to stop that from happening? Junglers can effectively win a lane if played right, which is just huge.
Mid laners should not be farming like it is their day job if the jungler gets shut down or if both top and bot are losing. Unless they are someone like Karthus they should be roaming to help other lanes win. Having a roaming mid AND a jungler means that the only lane you should ever really lose is middle lane, and only in CS, and that is definitely better then losing mid and or bot which is huge.
tl;dr mid and jungle since if coordinated right you can cover up for top and bot failing.

Uh, define serious team. What tournaments do you play? how high do you place? Honestly, i play with the same 4 guys every night ranked teams. doesn't make me a 'pro player'. Like, if you literally HAVE NO JOB and make ALL OF YOUR INCOME FROM GAMING then you're a pro player. I think it's lame you're throwing that **** around like we're going to be impressed. I've played go4lols with 3 diamond players, a plat player, and me. doesn't make us PROFESSIONAL PLAYERS.

Its in quotations because it isn't something that is my main income, but it is something I have made money from. We often play in many smaller weekly tournaments and we've won a few of them. We take ranked 5s as a joke unless we run into some serious diamond+ team because we scrim mid-top level pro teams on a pretty regular basis. We usually finish in Ro16 and Top 8 in go4lols but we are a relatively new team.
As for being "pro" we are sponsored by a legit company, but I can't tell you the details since I'm not the captain and don't know myself. In more serious online tournaments we've played against teams like Dignitas, CLG Black, (before disband) and 4not. (Although the only one we beat was 4not). As for the teams we scrim, we've scrimmed diamond+ teams and some "big" names like Legion, Rev Gaming, Underrated, and Orbit.
