Actually, I found Anivia relatively easy to pick up o:
Her Q can be hard to aim, but it's not too bad when they're slowed, and walled off.
All you really need to know with her, is that you DO NOT Q > E on her, it's unreliable, what you SHOULD be doing is simply hovering over them and pressing RE instantly, if you set your ult down so they're in the centre, they'll take decent damage from it, and cannot avoid the double damage from E. If you want to go HARD on them, start with your normal harass combo, but Q them while they're slowed by your R so it's easier to land, then wall off his escape, so he has to sit in your ult longer.
Keeping this up, your lane should be extremely easy against non-counters, after that it's just a matter of learning how to wall properly, which comes with time.
