As for playing her as a bruiser, this is something i said i would try and that i've been working on lately. I think it could help with her poor early game (as a solo-laner that is). My main problem has been finding the good masteries and runes to use. Items you will use depend on your laning opponent and the ennemy team arsenal of course. What i like behind the idea is that it gives you both physical and magical damage that can be a pain to counter for your ennemy. Some exotic items could be fun to use but to be honest this is still under testing and i've come with nothing safe yet.

@DarkPercy : It's nice to hear criticism back.
If you put Sejuani on a solo lane, you're cearly not aiming at early game advantage. That is if you play all alone (which is usually the case). But if your jungler is smart enough to come and help you, you can easily get kills as both Sejuani and your jungler should be able to shut your opponent down.
About Exhaust, i explained why i pick that spell over other options but i guess i can add more explanations. Most see Sejuani as a jungler with powerful ganks, making her a killing machine. I see her as a tank and as someone that is here to protect her team. The point of Exhaust here is not the slow or the early game agression but the damage reduction and the utility for team fights. It can be used both to protect someone on your team or to shut a threat in the ennemy team.
As for maxing Nothern winds or Permafrost first, there are as many reasons to max one before the other. Will you have help from your jungler ? Are you planing to get health items early on ? Who are you facing and can you duel him ? There are so many different cases. Why i prefer Northern Winds is beacause the damage dealt tend to surprise most opponents. And as soon as you can offer a giant belt, it becomes really effective. Now as i said in the guide, you will most of the time put points in Permafrost earlier than i did.
I dont know why people max W first on Sejuani lol. E gives you pretty much exactly as much damage and it's more reliable AND it slows more when you level it up.
Sejuani can't win any lane. I really believe she can only jungle effectively.
I enjoy your guide layout (appearance happens to be a huge selling point for me). The guide is detailed and your build is viable.
As a Sejunai player myself, this guide makes her look AWESOME. I'm tired of people talking about how bad she is ("worst champion in the game") when in fact, she is one of the strongest tanks in LoL, along with being able to provide a lot of utility.
Please continue on with this guide, along with a Laning and Team Fight phase! This guide could possibly bring new light on Sejuani's viability in LoL.
p.s. Do you think a AD bruiser-tank build is viable on Sejuani? E.g. Froz Mal (PERMA-SLOW), Hexdrinker, perhaps even Wriggle's. An early Phage, GP10 items and then tank items perhaps? The idea behind it is simply beating carries to death, and constantly applying Frost.
Thanks! Keep up the good work!
I didn't want to force anyone to put a comment to vote, i'm not aiming for the highest rating. It's just a modest guide that i mainly wrote for fun. I'll probably think about it for another guide tho.
You are right about that section of her role in team fights. I must write it, it would be a very good addition. And truth is Sejuani only really shines when she's with her team. That's what i want to bring forward.
To be honest, it is not done yet mostly due to my laziness ... but you didn't read that.
The guide tells a lot, but I'm missing a section about how to play him, act in team fights. I would find that a great new section for the guide.
Good job, so few people take the time to give new players multiple options.
@Pluckin Penguin : Thank you for your comment. That is something i thought about cause i do exactly as you say when i search for a guide on this site : look at the top page, blindly follow the item order and rarely go for details. I was about to publish when i figured that out so i didn't came change anything. But this is an issue i have to work on. I think about at least detailing the build order. Now, the chapter about each build is being worked on already.
@utopus : Thank you :)
@Gottri : I did wondered about an AD build and gave it a few tries. Main problem is i'm not good with melee DPS and know few about AD items. I can't figure out when to get AS over AD, when to get some defense etc, so i can only theorisize.
In Sejuani's case, you get more boots options but Mercury's Treads seems mandatory for me. Going Warmog/Atma seems an obvious choice. I would add a Frozen Mallet at some point. I don't know which AS item would fit. Youmuu's Ghostblade seems to be a nice choice with amor penetration, cooldown and attack speed thru active. Maybe a Zeal turned into a Phatom Dancer later on could be a good idea since it also give movement speed. Throwing a Wit's End may help too. She could also make a good use of Malady. You would also have to add more AD at some point with either Bloodthirster or Dancing Edge.
