2000 toplaner 800+ games as Irelia AMA

You need Phage on almost every build for [[Irelia]] so skipping frozen mallet with this build is not a good choice, people will be able to run from you. Zerkers doesnt work vs toplaners that can kill you, but they are great if you dont need any other boots against someone like [[cho'gath]] or [[shen]].[/quote]

[/quote] It can beat a few melee champions like [[diana]] and maybe [[gragas]] but overall i think the midlane is too short for renekton. If the enemy team plays it smart they will probably just stay safe until they gank you, if you doublejump onto them you have used your only escape and it has a long cooldown. Without rage Renekton cant kill a descent opponent, but he needs to push to get it. If you push lane they will just be able to freefarm under turret, i think [[lee sin]] is better because of this. He is pretty fun though so you can try him out yourself and see what you think. I like [[darius]] more vs melee midlaners since level 6+ he instakills them if he lands a grab without putting himself at huge risk. [[Irelia]] also pretty strong but only with damage focused build.[/quote]
